Jonathan Huberman

President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of the Board

Jonathan Huberman, Nogin’s President and Chief Executive Officer, has over 25 years of high-tech business leadership experience. He was previously the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Software Acquisition Group Inc. I, II and III, all blank check companies. Software Acquisition Group Inc. III merged with Nogin in August 2022. His previous two SPACs merged with Otonomo Technologies Ltd., a cloud-based software provider, and CuriosityStream, a global streaming media service that provides factual content on demand. From 2017 to 2019 Mr. Huberman was Chief Executive Officer of Ooyala, a provider of media workflow automation, delivery and monetization solutions, He sold Ooyala’s three core business units to Invidi Technologies, Brightcove (Nasdaq: BCOV) and Dalet (EPA: DLT), major players in the same sector. Previously, Mr. Huberman served as the Chief Executive Officer of Syncplicity, a SaaS enterprise data management company, which he sourced and acquired from EMC and engineered an exit to Axway (EPA: AXW). Prior to this, from 2013 to 2015, Mr. Huberman was the Chief Executive Officer of Tiburon, an enterprise software company serving the public safety sector, which he sold to Tritech Systems, and before that he was the Chief Executive Officer at Iomega Corporation (NYSE: IOM), a consumer and distributed enterprise storage solutions provider. After Iomega was acquired by EMC Corporation in 2008, Mr. Huberman served as President of the Consumer and Small Business Division of EMC. In addition to his experience leading these technology companies, Mr. Huberman spent nine years as an investor for the Bass Family interests where he led investments in private and public companies. He also had senior roles leading the operations of the technology investments of the Gores Group and Skyview Capital. Mr. Huberman holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Princeton University and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Shahriyar Rahmati

Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer

Shahriyar Rahmati has over twenty years of experience in various C-Suite roles across several industries and has held operating executive positions at private equity firms in the U.S. and Europe. Most recently, he served as COO of RugsUSA, an ecommerce retailer of home décor products, which he led during a time of significant growth. Prior to his role at RugsUSA, Rahmati was a Managing Director and Head of Portfolio Operations at Comvest Partners, a mid-market private equity firm focused on consumer, healthcare, and business services investments. Before that, he was a principal at The Gores Group where he supported the execution and post-acquisition management of companies concentrated in the technology, media, and telecom sectors. Rahmati was also previously an operating partner at Graham Partners, where he supported and hired CFOs across the portfolio and held several interim CFO and COO roles in various sectors. Prior to his time at Graham Partners, Rahmati was a key member of portfolio company transformation teams on behalf of leading private equity firms such as TPG Capital, Freeman Spogli and Hellman & Friedman. He began his career in Supply Chain and Finance at Solectron.

Shoab Khan

Chief Technology Officer

Shoab Khan has nearly 20 years of experience in digital product and ecommerce technology across several industries including home décor, office supplies and web to print. Most recently, he served as the Chief Technology Officer of Rugs USA where he successfully built and led a world class technology team and helped scale the business during rapid growth leading to the acquisition by Francisco Partners and continued to serve as CTO and oversee additional M&A under the brand. Prior to that, he served as Director of Ecommerce Technology at Envelopes.com, a leading provider of office supplies and custom web to print offerings. There, he helped build a unique self-serve online designer that allowed customers to print business and personal media with the additional offering of direct mail services. The growth of the business led to the successful acquisition by TZP Group where he then helped the business through an M&A of Folders.com and later served as the Director of Technology of the newly formed BigName Commerce company. Shoab started his career as a software engineer and continues to leverage that experience to help scale and build new enterprise technologies.

Chaim Sash

Chief Product Officer

Chaim Sash is an experienced leader in product and design, boasting nearly two decades of expertise in the e-commerce industry. Known for his ability to merge data with intuition, Mr. Sash excels in leading creative teams with strategies that are both evidence-based and process-oriented.

Prior to his current position, Mr. Sash served as the Senior Director of Product at Rugs USA. In this role, he spearheaded product management, design, and roadmapping. He built the Product Team from scratch and transformed Rugs USA into a market leader in site experience, culminating in its acquisition by Francisco Partners.

Mr. Sash’s professional journey includes significant roles such as UX Designer at AJ Madison, a major appliance retailer, and at B&H Photo, one of the largest privately-owned consumer electronics companies. His additional background in social media marketing, full-stack development, and videography has been pivotal in understanding the complete product lifecycle.

Mr. Sash holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Writing from Brooklyn College.

Munan Xue

Chief Marketing Officer

Munan Xue brings a data-centric approach to digital and direct response marketing at NOGIN, focusing on growing client brands profitably through driving incrementality and variable contribution. His strategies are informed by deep analytics, enabling precise targeting and effective customer acquisition.

Prior to joining NOGIN, Mr. Xue served as the Vice President of Revenue at NOBULL since May 2022, where he was instrumental in propelling the company’s revenue growth through strategic marketing initiatives. His tenure at RugsUSA as the Head of Customer Acquisition and Retention from January 2018 to April 2022 marked a period of significant growth for the company, driven by his effective customer engagement and retention strategies.

In his earlier roles, Mr. Xue demonstrated his exceptional ability to merge creativity with analytics as the Director of Marketing Sciences at POSSIBLE and as the Director of Strategy & Analytics at Team One. His approach consistently involved developing full-funnel marketing strategies that were meticulously tailored to align with client objectives and customer profiles. 

Mr. Xue holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Arash Behestian

Chief Analytics Officer

Arash Beheshtian is a seasoned Data Scientist and Operations Research Expert, with over 18 years of experience in engineering consulting. A passionate leader, he uses his expertise in logistics, retail, and data analysis in delivering strategic, operational, and technical advice to a diverse range of businesses, including Fortune 500 companies, traditional retailers, and ecommerce enterprises. Arash’s multidisciplinary background and problem-solving acumen have been instrumental in optimizing supply chains and designing data-driven frameworks for complex business models. With a knack for Descriptive, Diagnostic, Predictive, and Prescriptive analytics, he has demonstrated exceptional abilities in developing, optimizing, and perfecting quantitative tools to tackle real-world challenges. As an adjunct professor at Columbia University, Arash shared his extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with graduate students, teaching them the intricacies of supply chain and risk management engineering. His educational journey includes a Ph.D. in planning from Cornell University and post-doctoral fellowships at both MIT and Cornell, where he conducted research on transportation systems, logistics networks, and optimization models. Arash has made substantial contributions to the fields of supply chain analytics and microeconometrics, with over 30 peer-reviewed articles and books under his belt. A system thinker at heart, Arash thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
